SUMMARY:

The intern for this project will help develop a light design facelift to Cymer’s intranet, Cymersource, and in conjunction with the Corporate Marketing team develop and deploy new content for the marketing communications section of Cymersource.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Leverage the newly adopted brand identity to create a simple design upgrade to Cymersource.
Work with the marketing team to define appropriate new content for the marketing communications section of Cymersource.
Using the existing Typo3 content management system (CMS) and site structure for Cymersource, help develop an effective layout for new marketing content.
Work closely with IT to coordinate all activity and site changes to Cymersource.
Take on additional marketing projects as time allows.
Qualifications

The qualified candidate should have some familiarity with at least one web content management system, and have participated in a web development project. Computer and web skills are essential.

Ideally the candidate would have an interest in Business-to-business technology marketing in order to be comfortable in the technical environment of Cymer (this is not a consumer business).

Requires enrollment in a Bachelor’s Degree program in a marketing, or business discipline. The candidate should be exploring marketing as a career choice.

• An understanding of marketing functions and tactics is ideal.
• High level of communication skills – both written and verbal. Copywriting
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate well with technical and non-technical people.
• Some experience working with creative would be useful, including experience with tools such as Adobe Photoshop.
• Familiarity with HTML is a plus.
